Dog’s love and krishna’s flute

I am working on a haiku book with two friends. A possible title is:

Buddha In A Bar After Hours

Zen Haiku & Chat

I came across this above link early this morning, and liked this presentation by Neil Spencer, as well as the nine Hafiz poems he shares. One poem is titled “Dog's Love,” and I think Buddha in a bar after hours might have read that one to any real cowboys and cowgirls who are trying to saddle the Moon (aka. God, real love, real knowing, needing to find the Sun in your pocket). And: realizing anything you can touch is really the Alchemy Stone.

I have been waking in the middle of the night sometimes, doing some yoga then, meditating, dealing with correspondence, or sometimes moving along some literary project. Though most always try and then go back to sleep for as long as I can, and so rarely ever book any kind of early appointments.

I just woke now after writing the first part of this blog, and was glad to get in another couple hours of sleep. As I was just laying there, awake but with my eyes closed, I was feeling a beautiful sweetness all around; and I felt there  is no place I would rather be then where I am— no other feeling I’d rather be feeling other than I am.

Then a poetry line popped into my ken, a new one as far as I know, and a phrase that seemed worthy of a book title, and maybe a little famous book to be. It was:

Suns Flow In The River

And maybe Neil Spencer would consider that a good example of how a poetic phrase could switch one from the “left brain perception and dealings”— to being in the “right brain, more conscious vivid animated realm."

I think if I don’t use that line, Suns Flow In The River, as a book title, I will maybe use that title for a blog someday, and perhaps expound more on these lines:

Suns Flow In the River in the kingdom of heaven within. And the kingdom of heaven without; for it is always there— all forms Illumined, in the external world if one truly sees.

Then, not wanting to forget about Dog's Love .... with Buddha after hour in a bar. I could say: I bet Buddha could have said that tooooo! That rather wonderful line just north of these three, that is all in italic, about Suns ... in the river!

OOOO, and might as well add in this:

Sitting along the bank of existence, so still, one day I realized:

the quiet has eyes

   that can see way beyond

       the song of all noise

But don't think that at all really applies if you are super rock-n-rolling to a great tune. Everyone, everything is really an exception. All rules get left at the threshold of paradise, except knowing the Magnificent Luminous Sovereignty as ourself. All sound really comes out of Krishna's flute, even a car's horn, and a wolf's cry, and especially the applause during an ovation of something in life.

Always thanks for your time, and big hug.
