Courting The Moon

We are always courting the Moon, aka God, or courting whatever has been the heights of our experience, feelings, or hopes. That is just a psychological & emotional given.

So how to bring the Moon closer— God, if one is a person of faith?

And I like this little Buddha, Zen haiku, as it were, I wrote a few years ago, on the same theme— it later occurred to me being:

consciously walking

     buddha tickles

        feet

Sign me up for that!

The Sun Is Perched On A Tree You Are

The sun is perched on a limb in the sky, on a tree

you are that has roots throughout existence. 

And the eclipse between you and God will wane,

and as it does you will Know more and more you

and all things — and God — are One.
