God Beyond God 101
Who among those who has faith or experience in there being more to life than she knows wouldn’t want to sit in a classroom called: Lao Tzu 102, or, Jesus 500? Or really start getting more down to the bone and a deeper living with: Buddha After Hours In A Bar?
I think a big part of the Rumi and Hafiz phenomena over the last several hundred years in the world, wonderfully spilling over into the English language is: you get to sit with Jesus and Buddha after hours in a bar. You get to click glasses with the moon. And what real cowboy, cowgirl, or yogi would not want to find the oasis of wonder, of love, of thanks, of vital needed moments of great freedom, joy, and dance to help hone one’s heart and mind, or help find the oasis in the madness that can seem to surround us?
Speaking of cowboys, I have been pack-horsing Hafiz into this world for some 30 years; and Rumi too. I love my little Rumi book, The Purity of Desire, 100 Poems of Rumi. That book is something Buddha might reach for on some shelf in a bar and read a poem to us kids. This link:

will give you a taste of some of my Hafiz offerings to the world. Here they have an intro on Hafiz that they call, the “Invisible Tongue.” That translation-expression-phrase is really much closer to being the “Tongue of the Invisible.” Meaning to me: the one who spoke for God, beyond God 101.
One of my blogs here is titled: Buddha After Hours In A Bar, dated November 14, 2022. Thought that was a keeper enough to post it, and also again aim it your way, now.
Another of my blogs is: The Body Is Like Mary. Which has a beautiful Rumi poem titled that you could read via clicking on a link. That poem, I think, is one of the most significant of the some 1000 poems I have published with Penguin Random House to date.
Thanks, thanks, and thanks to any who support my work.
OOOOO, a P.S.
I wrote a little haiku the other day, or maybe it is just a haiku mutant. Nevertheless, I think it belongs here, and is a significant envoy for spiritual intelligence. Truth:
there is no shrine
in this world more holy
than your own hand
